Set up ShareX, Flameshot or your phone
Create an API key and download a ready config, so screenshots upload by themselves.
1. Create an API key
- Open Image host, Upload settings, then the API keys tab.
- Give the key a name, for example
ShareX, and create it. - The key is shown only once. Download the configs right away.
2. Download a config
| File | For |
|---|---|
| puhgg.sxcu | ShareX image and file uploads (Windows). |
| puhgg-shortener.sxcu | ShareX URL shortener. |
| puhgg-flameshot.sh | Flameshot on Linux. |
| puhgg-upload.sh | A small script for the terminal on Mac and Linux. |
3. Add it to ShareX
- Double-click
puhgg.sxcu. ShareX asks whether to add the uploader: click Yes. - In ShareX, open Destinations and set Image uploader and File uploader to Custom image uploader and Custom file uploader.
- Take a screenshot. The link is copied to your clipboard and the file shows up under Your files.
iPhone and Android
Phones have no config file, so you build it once by hand. The steps for iOS Shortcuts and Android apps like HTTP Shortcuts are under iOS Shortcuts and Android setup right after you create a key.
Keep your key secret. Anyone with your key can upload to your account. If it leaks, delete it in the API keys tab and create a new one. The team will never ask for it.
